Great News! We have a new Junior parkrun for Maidstone.
Previously, called the Parkwood junior parkrun, where it took place for seven years until the running area was needed for re-development. Event Director, Keeley Frazer-Wise immediately sought a new venue and it became Mote Park junior parkrun. It is a 2km course and youngsters aged between 4 and 14 can be registered for free.
Where: Sited immediately behind the Maidstone Leisure Centre in Mote Park, Maidstone, ME15 7RN
When: Every Sunday morning with a 9.00am start.
Cost: FREE

parkrun Maidstone
We are now fortunate to have three parkruns in the Borough!
- Maidstone parkrun – A 5km run along the tow path from Allington Lock. Starting at Maidstone River Park, Lock Lane, Sandling, Maidstone, ME14 3AU every Saturday at 9am.
- Mote Park parkrun – A 5km run at Mote Park, Mote Avenue, Maidstone, Kent, ME15 7SU. Starts by the lake near the old boat house, every Saturday at 9am.
- Mote Park Junior parkrun – A 2km run for 4 – 14 years olds, at the rear of Maidstone Leisure Centre in Mote Park, Maidstone, ME15 7RN. Every Sunday at 9am.
Why not bring the whole family along to take part or help out as volunteers at any of the Park Runs. You can run, jog or walk, it is not a race. Enjoy socialising with others and benefit healthwise from the activity.
