Many of our delivery partners offer inclusive activities and are open to children of all abilities, including supporting children with visual impairment. Here are some that we know would be delighted to discuss your group’s needs.  

 

This Is Us | Dance | Tunbridge Wells 

Inclusive dance company, delivering sensory based activities and tasks that help dancers build on fundamental cognitive, social and physical skills.

Inclusive Sport | VI Football | Ramsgate 

An inclusive football session for children with a visual impairment in partnership with Margate FC. Prior experience is not necessary, and players of all abilities are welcome. The coaches will facilitate a range of football drills and games with the aim of improving skills and offering the chance to meet new people and socialise with friends.

Canterbury Tennis | VI Tennis| Canterbury 

Visually Impaired sessions are open to players with all levels of sight loss, using adapted courts and equipment and with a coach on hand to give advice, come and give it a go!

Kent Cricket | VI Squad | Strood 

These sessions are appropriate for all levels and playing abilities from performance cricket to those wanting to come along to try playing. All are welcome, as we have several coaches who attend the training sessions and the venue we use is a reasonable size to accommodate a range of needs.

Canterbury Kings | Badminton | Canterbury 

Canterbury Kings pride themselves on providing opportunities for everyone by offering an extensive badminton programme that is friendly and inclusive. In their spacious 4 badminton court sports hall, you can either book a court or enrol onto a group session or course to help improve your game.

Cyclo4All | Adapted Cycling | Gravesend 

Cyclo4All is a programme for children and adults with disabilities and special needs to engage in high quality, fun activities. During our Cyclo4All sessions our team of trained volunteers will find the right bike for the rider, allowing them to experience and enjoy cycling, whatever their ability.

RDA South East | Riding | Various 

Whether you’re a rider, want to become a rider or know someone who would like to be a rider, you can find a local Group and see if we can help. You could end up following a dressage route, becoming a show jumper, riding Western Style or just spend time hanging out with lovely horses and ponies.

CEDAK | Archery | Maidstone 

CEDAK enables anyone who has a physical impairment, or disabling long-term health condition to try archery in an accessible environment. Our qualified coaches can teach anyone from a wheelchair user to someone who has an invisible or sensory impairment.  

Minimum age 12 and all children must be accompanied by an adults parent or carer.

Sense Active | Sensory Walks | Various 

Sensory walks allow you to use your senses to connect with your surroundings whilst you stay active. We’ve partnered with Ordnance Survey to help you find sensory walking routes, as well as developed resources to support you to use your senses to connect with nature. The walks are designed for people with complex disabilities, but can be enjoyed by anyone.

Ashford Sensory Football Club | Sensory Football | Ashford 

Sensory Football offers the opportunity for people with complex disabilities and sensory impairments to play football in a more sensory and engaging way that is adapted for their specific needs.

Jumpers Rebound Centre | Trampolining | Gillingham 

At Jumpers we have a wealth of experience working with people with special needs. Whatever your requirement we make use of our facilities to cater exactly to them. We ensure the groups are kept small and we make use of our ground level trampolines for easy access for all.

Sensory Swim Sessions | Swimming | Medway 

The sensory swim session is held in the hydrotherapy pool at Strood Leisure Centre and is for all swimming abilities and levels of disability. Suitable for children aged 3 to 12 years.
