Have Your Say – walking and cycling improvement.

Gravesham Borough Council is asking for views from residents, businesses and visitors on proposals for providing a safer walking and cycling route between Istead Rise and Meopham.

This consultation builds upon earlier work undertaken by the Council with Partners such as Kent County Council on a Local Cycling and Walking Improvement Plan (LCWIP). The LCWIP is a plan for taking an integrated approach to active travel planning policies, strategies, and delivery plans. The LCWIP sets out a prioritised programme of infrastructure improvements for future investment for walking and cycling. This Plan is available below as a supporting document.

The purpose of this consultation, as explained within the consultation document, is to seek your views on the route options put forward in a feasibility study that considered improving cycling and walking links between Istead Rise and Meopham.
