CALM Football Sessions
Save this itemSessions Designed to Tackle Stigmas and Talk Tactics
Partnering with the Kent Enablement Service (KES), Kent FA and CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably), the sessions aim to provide a safe space for participants to engage in football whilst also having the opportunity to speak to advisors and peers about their mental health.
During the sessions, KES advisors will join in and have casual chats. At half time, tea and coffee are offered, participants then have the chance to talk to someone about any difficulties they are experiencing.
The sessions that take place every Thursday at CCCU Sport Centre are not just 90-minute matches for like-minded people, but offer an environment to talk to KES advisors who can support participants with their mental wellbeing.
