Participants at an Active 50 session

Active 50 is Shepway Sports Trust’s sports and physical activity programme for people aged 50 years and over whom reside in Shepway.

There are different sports activities on offer every single day, such as Badminton, Football and Pickleball as well as lower impact activities like walking football, walking groups and low impact circuit sessions. And for those that love taking part in exercise classes, they also offer yoga, pilates and keep fit.

Whatever your physical ability, everyone is welcome and encouraged to improve their fitness and mental wellbeing while becoming a valued member of the community and making some new friends along the way. Shepway Sports Trust believes that their activity sessions should be accessible to everyone so have kept their class fees to a minimum, with thanks to a whole troop of volunteers.
