Alzheimer’s & Dementia Support Services | Activity Café, Cycling and Chair Fit | Dartford
Independent charity working in Dartford, Gravesham and Swanley providing support to people affected by dementia. The charity aims to equip people with the knowledge and practical support to live with dementia, carry on with their chosen lifestyle and ensure their voices are heard by society.
Supported by Active Kent & Medway to deliver Activity Café and Cycling for All (in partnership with Cyclopark – see below).

Limitless at Cyclopark | Disability & Paracycling Club | Gravesend
Cyclopark have a number of very experienced coaches and equipment available to use and will offer club coaching sessions and club rides. They welcome new members and strive to be supportive and encouraging to all.

Community Interest Company that aims to provide an open-air cycling experience for less able adults in Canterbury, using a safe environment and adapted cycling machines.

Weekly sessions aim to enhance the swimming experience of those living with dementia and their carers, by removing barriers, making swimming more accessible and creating a friendly, safe environment.

Multi-Activity Session for Older People | Larkfield & Tonbridge
The multi activity sessions are ideal for older adults living with Dementia, Parkinson’s or other neurological conditions. Clients can safely access activities such as short tennis, table tennis, boccia and golf putting and can use the static bikes and dumbbell weights.

Spadework | Walking for Wellbeing | West Malling
Circular walks, starting from our car park that last two hours and last between three and four miles. Relaxed, easy walking around the local countryside. Anyone, including people with dementia who can comfortably walk for two hours that last between three and four miles.

Active Medway | Walking & Cycling | Medway
Medway Health Walks encourages everyone to try a group walk by joining our volunteer led walking groups. We have a number of walking options from 10 minutes up to 90 minutes. You only need a pair of shoes and a fitness level appropriate to the walk you are joining.
Our cycling groups are free, run all year on flat routes and, most of all, fun. All you have to do is bring your bike and pedal. Local ride leaders, community leaders and volunteers will do the rest.

Cycling UK – Community Cycle Clubs | Cycling | Various
A Community Cycle Club (CCC) is a group of people who come together to cycle for whatever purpose they choose. The programme connects individuals to their community to build social networks, feel well and enjoy being active by cycling. Their aim could be to reduce isolation, improve health and wellbeing, develop skills and education, or just have fun.
